Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 11:00am-7:00pm & Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm*

*Various shifts available - Full Time or Part Time

Position Overview

Provides substance use counseling and support services to juvenile offenders admitted into the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice Treatment Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes intakes and assessments as needed
  • Provides individual and group counseling
  • Completes treatment planning and other required clinical documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and licensing regulations
  • Provides case management services and coordination of the youth’s treatment
  • Develops post-release plans
  • Participates in staff growth and development activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field
  • Experience with offender populations preferred
  • Experience with juveniles preferred
  • Must meet professional staff qualifications as required by 77 Illinois Administrative Code 2060.309 within two years of employment
