Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 11:00am-7:00pm & Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm*
*Various shifts available - Full Time or Part Time
Position Overview
Provides substance use counseling and support services to juvenile offenders admitted into the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice Treatment Program.
Responsibilities:
- Completes intakes and assessments as needed
- Provides individual and group counseling
- Completes treatment planning and other required clinical documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and licensing regulations
- Provides case management services and coordination of the youth’s treatment
- Develops post-release plans
- Participates in staff growth and development activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field
- Experience with offender populations preferred
- Experience with juveniles preferred
- Must meet professional staff qualifications as required by 77 Illinois Administrative Code 2060.309 within two years of employment
