Schedule: Full-time - Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Some weekends needed.
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 (based on experience & qualifications)
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, the Clinical Counselor will provide substance use and mental health services to adolescent youth in a prison setting. These services would include group and individual counseling, family therapy engagement (in-person, on-site, or virtually), and serving on the youth’s multidisciplinary support team.
What will you do?
- Lead individual and group counseling sessions
- Engage families through in-person or virtual therapy
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting each youth’s progress
Qualifications:
- A licensed or license-eligible candidate with a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related Clinical field.
- Experienced with adolescent or prior juvenile justice clients (preferred, but not required!)
- A valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation (proof of insurance may be needed)
